Downbeat Mastering is a full-service mastering studio based in Aotearoa New Zealand. It is owned and operated by Josh Llewellyn, who has 18 years of experience in the music industry as a disc-cutting and mastering engineer, sound technician, and promoter. 

 

Our studio is specifically designed for mastering and is equipped with ATC monitors and a carefully selected mix of analog and digital technology.

We love to use a collaborative approach to mastering and work closely with our clients to understand their sound, vision & budget. We always maintain open lines of communication throughout each project and take pride in being an integral part of the creative process rather than just providing a transactional service.
